Not too long ago, women could only wear dresses! Learn about Mary Edwards, a doctor in New York in the 19th century, who didn’t care for dresses. As a child, Mary didn’t understand why she couldn’t wear clothes that made her comfortable. Dresses made certain activities so difficult!  After reading Mary Wears What She Wants, create some new clothes for Mary to wear.
