Little New-Yorkers: Greta and the Giants

Little New-Yorkers: Greta and the Giants
Friday, October 29 at 3:30 pm ET

Free; ages 3-6

Note: Due to a private event at the Museum, this event has been moved online. Join us via Zoom for story time and crafts! Each program includes a special Little New-Yorkers hello song, silly dances and songs, a story book reading, and a craft to do at home. This October, we’re celebrating our new exhibition Notorious RBG: The Life and Time of Ruth Bader Ginsburg with stories of other groundbreaking women like RBG!

This week, read Greta and the Giants, written by Zoe Tucker and illustrated by Zoe Persico. This book is about Greta Thunberg, the real-life Swedish girl who has led a global movement to raise awareness about the world’s climate crisis. Find out if she can get the destructive giants to stop, listen, and take care of the land around them. Afterwards, design your own beautiful forest full of animal friends.
