ach class includes a special Little New-Yorkers hello song, silly dances and songs, a story book reading, and a craft to do at home. This November, celebrate Native American Heritage Month by reading some of our favorite stories by Indigenous authors. This week, read Nimoshom and His Bus by Penny M. Thomas with illustrations by Karen Hibbard.

Nimoshom is a friendly school bus driver, and every day on the way to and from school, he tells silly stories and teaches his passengers new words in Cree. Learn along with the kids on Nimoshom’s bus, and after the story make a 3D school bus of your own!

Please note that this is not a drop-off program—child participants must be accompanied by an adult. This program will take place in person. Capacity limits, vaccination proof plus matching ID (for those ages 12 and up), and mask requirements apply. Please find all our safety information here.
