Sunday Story Time: 'Fry Bread: A Native American Family Story'
Sunday, November 21 at 11:30 am | Ages 3-6

Ticket includes Museum admission
Adults: $22
Kids (ages 5-13): $6
Members and ages 4 and under: Free

Join us every Sunday in person for story time and crafts! Each class includes a special Little New-Yorkers hello song, silly dances and songs, a story book reading, and a craft to do at home. This week, learn about Indigenous peoples with Kevin Noble Maillard’s Fry Bread: A Native American Family Story, illustrated by Juana Martinez-Neal.

As a modern Native American family works together to make their favorite food, this vibrant book tells a story of community, history, culture, and tradition. After we read, make your own fry bread puzzle, with each piece a special ingredient from the story!

Please note that this is not a drop-off program—child participants must be accompanied by an adult. This program will take place in person. Capacity limits, vaccination proof plus matching ID (for those ages 12 and up), and mask requirements apply. Please find all our safety information here.
